Dear 2017-2018 Club Officers and Kiwanis Leaders addressed (bcc:d),

Congratulations, 2017-2018 District Governor Joni Ackerman has accepted your club’s application for the District’s Distinguished Club Award for 2017-2018 and we will be presenting your club with a plaque in recognition of your club’s achievement.

We look forward to recognizing your club for their accomplishments during the General Session (starting at 8:00 a.m.) at either the Mid-Year Conference South to be held at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley in San Diego, CA on Saturday, February 16, 2019 or at the Mid-Year Conference North to be held at the Flamingo Conference Resort and Spa in Santa Rosa, CA on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

I ask that the representative of your club, who will be receiving this award, be prepared to accept the award on stage in a timely manner, so we may keep the session running smoothly and within the time constraints. This award will be presented towards the end of the session.

If a club representative (or Lt. Governor) is not available to accept the award, the plaque will be mailed to the club after the conferences.

Please respond letting us know which conference your club will accept the award, along with the name of the representative. (If no representative will be available, please inform us of that as well.)

(For more information regarding the conferences, please visit our website at www.cnhkiwanis.org under the Conferences and Conventions tab.)

We would also like to remind you of our District campaign policy. All campaign material (clothing, buttons, ribbons, logos or any campaign paraphernalia) shall be prohibited on stage during any session. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring you adhere to our policies.

Again, please accept my sincere congratulations on winning this award.

Sincerely,

Mark W. McDonald

Executive Director
