At this point we believe all of the costs for the two Mid-Year Galas are recorded and I’m happy to announce our net income amounts to $18,113!  This is nearly double the 2017-2018 result of $9,293. A huge thank you to Debbie, Anna and Guy for their key roles in making these Galas a great success – and let’s not forget Jenn and Kassy for their hard work as well.

At our Board meeting I was asked to give you an update on Champions for Children.  At the end of February we had brought in $10,295 in CFC donations.  For the same period last year we brought in $11,985, however, this did include a matching gift of $1,800. Excluding the matching gift last year’s total would have been $10,185 which puts us slightly ahead during 2018-2019. Please keep promoting this program – and if you’re not already a CFC donor, please reach out to me to make a one-time gift or monthly donation (you can also donate via our website)!
