REPLY REQUESTED – complete and submit registration form, mileage form and team attire form

2018-2019 Lt. Governors-elect, Governor’s Cabinet and Kiwanis Leaders addressed,

Please see the attached registration form for the 2019-2020 Lt. Governor Training that will be held in Rancho Cucamonga at the Best Western Plus and at the Kiwanis Professional Center from Thursday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday, May 19 at noon. We ask that you complete and submit your registration form no later than Monday, April 22 so we ensure your housing reservations are secured and the meal count is accurate.

While Governor-elect Timothy Cunning welcomes your spouse/partner to attend, please note, there will not be formal training for them, but they are invited to the meal functions.

Dress will be Kiwanis casual during the weekend-long training.

As a reminder, we will make the housing reservations for you based on the dates you provide on the registration form and the training budget will cover the room costs if you share a room with another Lt. Governor (Thursday arrival and Sunday departure). If you bring your spouse/partner or prefer a private room, you’ll be responsible for paying for half of the room costs.

You will be responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the training and the costs associated with your travel.

Meals will be provided starting with dinner on Thursday and concluding with lunch on Sunday. You will be responsible for paying for any meals for your spouse/partner and the total costs are listed on the registration form.

Please also see the attached mileage form. This document is important for establishing your budget for the upcoming administrative year, so please complete the form accurately and completely by Friday, April 5.

Please also see the attached team attire form. This will be your official team polo shirt and team tie or scarf for the 2019-2020 year, so please complete the form and submit by Monday, April 22, so that orders will be ready for delivery at the training.

Governor-elect Tim would like you to come prepared to discuss the following at the training:

1.      Know which clubs in the division you serve are under charter strength (have less than 15 members) (review the attached monthly membership report for assistance)

2.      Consider sites where new clubs may be opened in the division you serve

Please also see the attached Countdown to May Training checklist and the 2018-2019 Dates to Remember to assist in your planning.

If you have any questions regarding the registration or mileage form, please feel free to contact me at ext. 122 or Tricia at ext. 106.

Thanks,

Trina Krider
