Kiwanis Leaders addressed,

 

We have recently been informed that 1980-1981 Lt. Governor for Division 35, Robert M. “Bob” Ebiner passed away on February 5, 2019. He was the last surviving charter member of the of the Kiwanis Club of West Covina (that was chartered in 1959). He was 91.

 

Bob also served as the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation president from 1994-1996. He served as a Foundation director from 1986-1991 and was a Foundation Ambassador in 2015-2016 and accepted the award for Division 35 for the Foundation’s 100% DSA Participation Awards for that year. He is a Silver level Dunlap recipient and a member of the Foundation’s Legacy Fellowship.

 

Most recently on the club level, he served as club president in 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 and club secretary in 2005-2006.

 

The West Covina Historical Society honored Bob with the Historical Preservation Award in 2011.

 

Memorial services were held in February.
