Dear Cal-Nev-Ha CLE Trainers:
We would like to thank you for your continued service as a CLE Trainer.
This year and moving forward, we are presenting CLE Training using an entirely new curriculum with an emphasis on leadership, an essential element for club leadership which has
been absent in curricula past.
The old curriculum focused solely on club management, making CLE a misnomer. By introducing the vital leadership element, we will better equip our club leaders with the tools necessary
to improve the membership experience, close the back door, build membership by adding more hands of service for our communities, and last but not least, improve our leadership pipeline.
The Kiwanis International books will remain the same (presumably updated annually), and we will continue to refer to the valuable content within their pages. However, the PowerPoint
presentation will be all new, unique to Cal-Nev-Ha. We look forward to your attendance at one of the upcoming CLE trainer’s trainings (see details below), to share with you all of the new content. It is vitally important, that as trainers, you follow all
elements prescribed in this new Leadership training in order to give our officers the best chance for success during their term.
Our most important resource, for the future of our communities and the children, is our club leadership. Thank you again for your continuing service and for training the future
leaders of this great organization.
Attendance at the trainer’s training is mandatory in person. Trainers not attending will not be given assignments.
