2018-2019 Lt. Governors-elect, Governor’s Cabinet and Kiwanis Leaders addressed,

 

Lt. Governor Training is quickly approaching and we have some information/reminders to share in order to prepare you for this weekend:

 

Hotel information: Best Western Plus Heritage Inn Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario, 8179 Spruce Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, 909-466-1111

 

Kiwanis Professional Center information: 8360 Red Oak St., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, 909-989-1500

 

-Dress for the entire training is Kiwanis casual (no shorts, please)

 

-If you pre-ordered your team attire, the items will be delivered to you at the training. If you still need to order team attire, will need to add the shipping charges and the items will be mailed to you.

 

-Aloha shirts will be available for purchase. (If you will be attending the International Convention, we encourage you to wear the aloha shirts, especially during the Business Session)

 

-Team pins will be available for purchase. (The governor will be giving you one for your personal use and if you would like to give one to each of the club presidents in the division you serve, they are available for $5 each.)

 

1.      Bring a laptop or tablet (if available) to the training session

2.      Bring dates (and alternate dates) for your division’s Governor’s Official Visit, try to make these dates work

within your region and geographical areas to allow Tim the most efficient travel schedule possible.

3.      Bring a light jacket

4.      See the attached schedule of events/agenda

5.      See the attached Pre-Training Team Worksheet and bring with you (completed as much as possible)

6.      Be prepared to discuss the at charter and below charter strength clubs in the division you will serve (see attached

April membership report)

7.      Be prepared to discuss potential sites where new clubs may be opened in the division you will serve

8.      Prior to your flight, call 909-466-1111 and pre-arrange a complimentary shuttle reservation if you need a ride from the airport to the hotel

9.      If you would like to participate in the wine tasting event on Friday night after dinner at 6:30 p.m., please reply to this email with your RSVP by Monday, May 13.
