Dear Kiwanians,

The agenda and supporting materials for our upcoming Foundation Board of Directors meeting to be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, beginning at 12:00 p.m., is now available for download from Box.com.

Please note the revised start time: we will start with lunch at noon and begin our discussion at 12:30 p.m. If you do not intend to join us for our lunch, please notify me no later than Monday, May 20th so the Foundation does not incur any unnecessary expense.

Please click on the link below to access the Board Packet and supporting materials. We strongly suggest you take a moment now to download these files to your computer.

A few reminders about our agenda format:

·       Consent agenda: Items on the consent agenda are considered to be routine items in which we don’t anticipate discussion on the topic. Should you have a question about any item on the consent agenda, I encourage you to reach out to me, Jenn, or Roy to address any question you may have. If you feel a full discussion by the board would be beneficial, you may request in writing - prior to the start of the board meeting - that an item be removed from the consent agenda.

·       We’ve grouped all action items together on the agenda and included the supporting materials to the action items in packet #1.

·       We’ve included all committee meeting minutes and general housekeeping items for your reference in packet #2.

Please note the following as you review the agenda and board packet:

1.      All supporting documents have been placed in the order of their appearance in the agenda.

2.     All supporting documents appear in red in the agenda and are underlined.

3.     We have separated the board packet into two PDFs. The first packet contains the standard business and action items for the Board’s consideration while the second packet includes committee updates and reference items for the Board’s review. We’ve also created a third packet of materials for the discussion period.

4.     We have used bookmarks within the each packet so you may easily find any content you are looking for.  When you have downloaded and opened the files, click on the bookmark icon which is displayed in the left window. This will open the bookmarks and allow you to navigate to a specific report within the packet.

We ask that you bring your filled jars that you were given at our retreat in November as well as all ticket stubs and monies collected from our Dinner Anywhere and Quilt raffles.

As always, should you have any questions please call me. I look forward to seeing you all in Rancho Cucamonga!

PS - If you have difficulties accessing the materials on box.com, please contact Kassy so that we may email the attachments to you directly.

Sincerely,

Pete Horton
