2010-2011 Lt. Governors (bcc’d), Past Governors and Kiwanis Leaders addressed,

We have been informed that the mother of 2010-2011 District Governor Tom Millham passed away yesterday (June 12, 2019).

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Douglass and Zook Mortuary, 600 E Foothill Blvd., Monrovia, CA 91016. (Viewing at 9:00 a.m. and internment following the services at Rose Hills.)

Notes of condolence may be sent to Tom at 1485 Cherry Hills Circle, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150-4921 or via email at xxxxxx@jps.net.

Tom shared the following about his mom:

Her ‘birth’ name was Jacqueline LaMarr Sames (April 9, 1924).  She was 95 years, 2 months and 3 days old when she passed away.  She married my dad on Feb. 25, 1945 (DURING WWII) and became Jackie Millham.

Three children, Kathi, Patty and Li’l Tommy!  Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren.  She and dad bought a house in May 1955 and mom was still living in that same house until the day she died – 64 + years!!  Retired from Pacific Bell 1985.

I was very pleased that she was able to physically attend my Installation as Governor in Reno, August 2010 as well as my convention in San Diego in 2011.  She has been pretty much bed-ridden for the past 5 months.  Her mom and one sister also lived past their 95th year.

Please keep Tom and his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Thanks,

Trina Krider
