Dear Kiwanians,

 

We are pleased to remind you of the 2019 Foundation Retreat, which will be held October 25-27, 2019. Our second Board of Directors meeting for the 2019-2020 year is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 27th.  (Please note, if your term on the Foundation Board expires on September 30th, you can disregard this email)

 

We will be staying at Anaheim Marriott Suites in Garden Grove, CA. Please click here to register for the retreat and to indicate your housing preference. It’s important you register for the retreat no later than Monday, September 17th to guarantee your housing at the hotel.

 

To assist you in your travel plans, we’ve attached the meeting notice and tentative agenda for the weekend. Please read these documents and the retreat registration page carefully before registering for the retreat as these resources will answer most questions you may have on pricing, attendance for your guest and housing. Should you have any additional questions regarding the Board meeting or the retreat, please feel free to contact me.

 

Please note we will not be scheduling committee meetings for Friday morning. Committees should plan to meet prior to the retreat and submit committee reports by Friday, October 4th to be included in the Board packet. We ask that you select a few tentative dates in which you can host a teleconference and contact us with those dates. We can then send a meeting poll to your committee members to determine the best date to hold the teleconference. For your reference, we have included the 2019-2020 committee assignments. Please plan accordingly and be prepared to forward your committee’s report no later than October 4th.

 

Finally, an agenda and board packet will be sent at a later date. If you have an item you wish to be placed on the agenda, please email your request to Kassandra, with a copy to Jenn, by Friday, October 4th. If your committee has a report to present to the board, we ask that you email it to us by October 4th so we may include it in our mailing.
