Things You Should Know

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, SCE has narrowed the types of outages it is conducting. SCE is continuing with critical outages that present a near-term high risk, and harden the grid to reduce wildfire risk. Critical outages include when SCE has confirmed there is a condition that presents an imminent danger, immediate hazard, or concern that must be made safe. SCE is also performing work where there is a critical near-term concern with equipment, impacting safety, reliability, or adequate service to customers. SCE is also continuing to complete work in high fire risk areas to harden our infrastructure to protect the public from the dangers of a wildfire ignition. In addition to deferring non-critical outages, SCE works to ensure the lowest possible impact and minimizes the outage to the fewest possible customers. We are focusing on completing our critical safety work to protect the public and provide our customers with safe and reliable power during these challenging times.

Please note that power may be off for the whole period and may be turned off more than once. The times noted are our best estimates, but some conditions may cause the outage to not start exactly on time or to be postponed.
