Dear Kiwanis Family & Friends,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of former Lt. Governor Al Strunk on November 28^th, surrounded by the love of his daughter Erin and his devoted wife Myra. Al served with distinction as the Lt. Governor for Division 24 for two consecutive terms from 2019 to 2021. In addition to his role as Lt. Governor, he continued to contribute his wisdom and passion in the Governor’s Cabinet during the 2022-2023 term, where his insights were greatly valued.

To honor Al's remarkable life and legacy, Myra Strunk will hold a celebration on December 14th, a date that was originally planned for his 80th birthday. This gathering will take place at the Sea Pines Golf Resort, located at 1945 Solano St, Los Osos, CA 93402, USA,         from 1 PM to 4 PM.

In addition, the Strunk family are in the process of establishing a special fund in Al's honor to continue his legacy of service to the community.
