Subject: Kiwanis Patriotism Award Presentation 2017
Dear Club Patriot (bcc:d),
Congratulations, the District Patriotism Committee has accepted your club’s application for the Patriotism Award for 2015-2016 and we will be presenting your
club with a banner patch in recognition of your club’s achievement.
We look forward to recognizing your club for their accomplishments during the Closing Session (starting at 4:00 p.m.) at either the Mid-Year Conference North
to be held at the San Ramon Marriott in San Ramon, CA on Saturday, February 4, 2017 or at the Mid-Year Conference South to be held at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, CA on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
I ask that the representative of your club, who will be receiving this award, be prepared to accept the award on stage in a
timely manner, so we may keep the session running smoothly and within the time constraints. This award will be presented just after the Rose Float presentation at the beginning of the session.
If a club representative is not available to accept the award, the banner patch will be mailed to the club after the conferences.
Please respond letting us know which conference your club will accept the award, along with the name of the representative.
(If no representative will be available, please inform us of that as well.)
We would also like to remind you of our District campaign policy. All campaign material (clothing, buttons, ribbons, logos or any campaign paraphernalia) shall be prohibited on stage during any session. We appreciate
your cooperation in ensuring you adhere to our policies.
Again, please accept my sincere congratulations on winning this award.
Sincerely,
Mark W. McDonald
