I loved being at the Midyear North Conference having the opportunity to share information on the Kiwanis Children's Fund and visiting with members of your clubs at the Kiwanis Children's Fund table. I am looking forward to meeting with those in attendance at the Midyear South Conference and sharing with you as well.

Annual Club Gift

Share the Annual Club Gift campaign with your members at your DCM and ask your clubs to make an Annual Club Gift of $10 per member to the Kiwanis Children's Fund if they haven't already contributed. Kiwanis International President Jane Erickson's goal is for 100 per cent of our clubs to contribute $10 per member to the Children's Fund, also, a step in the club recognition program.

15% District Grant

Next year our District will be eligible for a 15% grant for contributions made by clubs, individuals and other entities during the 2016-17 year. This is huge and could be a big benefit our SLP scholarship program. Our district contributed 63K dollars last year, if we get our clubs to meet the Kiwanis International President's goal of $10 per member to the Children's Fund we would be eligible for a grant of $18,000. What a benefit, an additional $18K in scholarships to our SLP program!

Leadership Gift

The Children's Fund is asking Kiwanis leaders to set the example for their clubs, divisions and district by making a personal contribution to the Children's Fund.
