1997-1998 Lt. Governors (bcc:d) and Kiwanis Leaders addressed,
We have recently been informed that 1997-1998 Lt. Governor for Division 37 James “Jim” McNabb passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, with his wife Nancy by his side. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Los Rancheros, San Diego since
1986 and was the first president of the Kiwanis Club of Division 100 Miracle Mile of Quarters, San Diego that is dedicated to assisting Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego.
Nancy said Kiwanis was a big part of his life and he was originally asked by his neighbor if he’d like to join by saying, “Do you like breakfast?” – and he said he did!
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, 17010 Pomerado Road, San Diego, CA, 92128.
Notes of condolence may be sent to Nancy McNabb, 525 W. El Norte Pkwy., Space 22, Escondido, CA 92026-3904 or she may be reached at 619-871-2282.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his name to Elizabeth Hospice (https://elizabethhospice.org/donate) or to the Kiwanis Club of Los Rancheros Foundation, P.O. Box 27201, San Diego,
CA 92198-0035.
Please keep Nancy and Jim’s family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
