Kiwanis Clubs that submitted Signature Projects in 2017 (bcc:d),
Once again we would like to thank you for submitting your club’s signature project earlier this year as part of the
Kiwanis International recognition program.
Now, we would also like
to spotlight these signature projects at the upcoming
Kiwanis District Convention in Reno/Sparks, NV from
8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. on Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5, during the Club Service Projects and Fundraising Roundtable seminar sessions in Ponderosa A of the Nugget Casino Resort.
We invite you and your club representatives to bring in a table-top display or flyers, brochures or other promotional materials that attendees may review, discuss and
gleam ideas to take back to their clubs and possibly emulate in their communities. The room will be set with round tables and six chairs at each table, to give you an idea of how
much space you will have for your display. We ask that any items you bring do not exceed the space provided (one round table per club’s signature project).
Please reply by
Wednesday, July 19
to
xxxxxx@cnhkiwanis.org and let us know if your club will be able to participate in this opportunity. Please provide the name of the contact person, which club is being represented and the name of the signature project in your response.
By agreeing to participate, the club and its representatives acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.
Any and all materials brought to the convention must be removed from the seminar room on Friday following the morning sessions, as there are other seminars
offered in the afternoon sessions.
2.
It is the responsibility of the club and its representatives to manage the table exhibit during the entirety of the sessions.
3.
Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanis will not be held liable for any theft or damage to your club’s table exhibit (especially if it is left unattended).
4.
All club representatives must be registered for the convention and will be required to pay the appropriate registration fee for all Kiwanians and spouses of
Kiwanians staffing the table exhibit.
5.
No items of any kind associated with your project or fundraiser will be sold anywhere on the grounds of the convention facility without prior written approval.
6.
The items on display will be limited to the space provided of one roundtable.
If you have not yet
registered for the District Convention, please make sure to do so by
Wednesday, July 19. As a participant in this special seminar session, we are offering you the opportunity to register at the early registration rate of $200, as long as you register by
July 19. When registering, please enter the code SERVICE to receive the discounted rate.
We look forward to your participation in the convention, as we think this will be a valuable experience for not only your club but for the attendees as well!
Thanks,
Mark W. McDonald
