Subject: Kiwanis Lt. Governor-elect Training May 2018 Registration
REPLY REQUESTED – complete and submit registration form and mileage form
2017-2018 Lt. Governors-elect and Governor’s Cabinet,
Please see the attached
registration form for the 2018-2019 Lt. Governor Training that will be held in Rancho Cucamonga at the Best Western Plus and at the Kiwanis Professional Center from Thursday, May 17 at 5:00
p.m. until Sunday, May 20 at noon. We ask that you complete and submit your registration form no later than
Monday, April 23 so we ensure your housing reservations are secured and the meal count is accurate.
Governor-elect Rocci Barsotti encourages you to bring your spouse/partner.
Dress will be Kiwanis casual during the weekend-long training.
As a reminder, we will make the housing reservations for you based on the dates you provide on the registration form and the training budget will cover the room costs
if you share a room with another Lt. Governor (Thursday arrival and Sunday departure). If you bring your spouse or prefer a private room, you’ll be responsible for paying for half of the room costs.
You will be responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the training and the costs associated with your travel.
Meals will be provided starting with dinner on Thursday and concluding with lunch on Sunday. You will be responsible for paying for any meals for your spouse and the
total costs are listed on the registration form.
Please also see the attached
mileage form. Please note, this is has been updated from the one provided to you at the Mid-Year Conferences (location for District Convention should now read Las Vegas).
This document is important for establishing your budget for the upcoming administrative year, so please complete it accurately and completely by
Wednesday, April 4.
Governor-elect Rocci would like you to come prepared to discuss the following at the training:
1.
Know which clubs in the division you serve are under charter strength (have less than 15 members) (review the attached
monthly membership report for assistance)
2.
Consider sites where new clubs may be opened in the division you serve
Please also see the attached
Countdown to May Training checklist and the
2017-2018 Dates to Remember to assist in your planning.
If you have any questions regarding the registration or mileage form, please feel free to contact me at ext. 122 or Tricia at ext. 106.
Thanks,
Trina Krider
