We have been informed that Robert “Bob” Young, 2008-2011 Trustee for Region 15 and 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 Lt. Governor for Division 32, was in a motorcycle incident
yesterday and is in the hospital recovering. Please see the details and update below.
Please keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and prayers during his recovery. (An email may also be sent to:

Update on Bob. He looks good and is already restless (a good sign!). He actually has six (6) broken ribs (front & back), lung is working to repair itself,
a broken collar bone, and his thumb was wrapped up and couldn’t see it. He has a bump on the back of his head, but again his helmut did the job, thankfully, and he has road rash in a few places. He already has a request…Bob ‘s request is a Burger King Whopper
– which staff said he can’t eat right now, so Bob said, “don’t bring me one until I can eat it.” As long as the brain bleed stays small, Bob could/should be released from ICU sometime tomorrow and moved into a general room near ICU. He probably will not
be released from the hospital until sometime this weekend. Bob is in good spirits, and both he and staff referred to him as a human hockey puck. Bob confirmed that once was enough.
Keep those prayers coming, and he should be able to have his Whopper by Saturday if all continues to go well! Thank you!

Subject: Division 32 Update - Past 2x LTG Robert Young
Hello Team 32, and friends ~
Some may have gleaned the news on Facebook, yet if not…
Yesterday morning while on his way to work the Petaluma Kiwanis’ Fair gig, Bob Young’s motorcycle hit a puddle of oil on the highway causing his bike to go down. Thankfully Bob’s helmet
did its job, however Bob sustained a few injuries…broke 5 ribs with one puncturing a lung, broke his collar bone, a “minor” brain bleed, and seriously injured one of his thumbs. He is currently at Santa Rosa Memorial in ICU…which means no visitors. I talked
to his daughter, Jennifer, and if all looks good with the bleed…they are hopeful he’ll be released to go home tomorrow (Friday). Please keep him in your prayers for healthy and speedy recovery.
