Dear Call To Action Team:

We will be together, most of us, in Kona next weekend for our District Convention.  There is no team telephone conference tomorrow.

Attire for the convention is Kiwanis casual and aloha wear. Those of you who have been asked to do the Pledge, Song or Invocation should dress nicely but no business suit or jacket is required.  You may wear shorts!  You may wear Hawaiian clothing or Kiwanis Aloha wear.  Also see below about the Second Session (on Friday afternoon).

Those who are not yet signed up for our Team Dinner on Thursday evening, 6-9 p.m. (adjacent to the Manta Ray viewing site), may still register but please call the district office directly to do so.

Our 2017-18 Call To Action Team Meeting is Friday, 9:00 to 9:50 a.m., in the Staff Training Room, second floor. We will also have plenty of time during hospitality suite hours.  My hospitality suite information will be given at our Thursday night dinner and Friday morning meeting.

Team recognition occurs during the Second Session, on Friday afternoon (after the Awards Lunch), I will recognize my 2017-18 Lt. Governors and current Trustees. Report back to the Green Room at 4:00 p.m. and you will be introduced on stage.  Please wear your Team Polo to this session - wearing white bottoms would be nice.

The 2017-18 Club Presidents Meeting is Saturday at 9:50-11:45 a.m. in the Mauna Loa room.  We will discuss membership issues that can still be handled this term and other issues of interest.  Please send an email to your clubs about this, I would appreciate it.

I again state that our term continues through September 30, that our promotion to “Immediate Past” is symbolic only, and that we continue to work through the term.

(Starting Saturday you will see some people wearing the new team’s polo and possibly the aloha shirt.  They will all be wearing that at their installation on Saturday night.)

Thanks for your service and looking forward to seeing you soon!

Your Favorite Governor, Joni
