Dear Doug, Mahmood and Mondo,
Last weekend at the Foundation’s Board meeting the Board approved a recommended policy change which deals with travel for Service Leadership Program Board training conferences.
While this policy is new, the procedures it outlines have, to a great extent, been used by the Foundation for many years. It was the feeling of our leadership that it was time to formalize our procedures for reimbursing travel expense so we can appropriately
inform the affected Regional Advisors and Board members. Please see policy 164.4(D) in the attached policy document.
Doug and Mahmood, we ask you to forward this travel policy to your RA’s so they may take these rules into account as they prepare for winter Board meetings.
Mondo, we ask you to forward this travel policy to your RA’s and to your Board members. The one significant change in the policy affects Circle K Board members as they must
submit a request to the Director of Service Leadership Programs for any airline travel they wish to book.
As always, should you have any questions on the attached please feel free to reach out to myself or Jennifer.
Sincerely,
Pete Horton
