Kiwanis Message from Governor Pete Edwards

To my Kiwanis Friends,
I want to thank all of you for your support this year and you have all done a great job. It was a pleasure to work with all of you and the job you have all done in your Divisions is great, our clubs have grown and we have brought in 1,329 new members. Let's encourage our clubs to register their new members before the end of the year so we can actually count them this year. We all know that there is a tremendous drop of members at the end of the year so we need every member on the books we can get.
We are in the last weeks of the year and we need to put the pedal to the metal. When we started the year we all committed to help build clubs but we have only built 2 so far. International asked us to build 20 and I told you that I would be happy with 10. The other thing we committed to was to have each club install the I-Plan in their club. Lt. Governors, I need you to all check with your clubs and verify if they have or have not installed an I-Plan, if they have they need to go on their Secretary's Dash Board and make sure they put in the I-Plan as completed or they won't get Distinguished this year. They may have to look for a button on their Dashboard to go to where they will indicate it. (Under the Club Recognition tab - under the Investment section, check off strategic plan.) Your Distinguished also depends on them doing this because you need at least 60% of your clubs to do this.
If you need my help on anything I am here for you.
Thank you again for the year, I will talk to you in September, please try to get on our last call of the year.
Thank you,
The Power of We,
Pete Edwards
